Fourth Annual Jerry Cote Memorial Golf Tournament to Benefit The Amadeus Project and Johnson & Wales Scholarship

PROVIDENCE, R.I., July 15, 2009 – The fourth annual Jerry Cote Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Monday, August 3rd 2009 at the exclusive Quidnessett Country Club, North Kingston, Rhode Island. This golf tournament, designed and run by JWU student interns, is expected to be the primary fundraiser for The Amadeus Project, a statewide arts and education initiative. Net proceeds will benefit The Amadeus Project–a production of Peter Shaffer’s Amadeus–and the Johnson & Wales University Frank Tomassi Scholarship Fund.

Golfers who participate will begin the day with lunch at 11:30am and a shot gun scramble at 1:00pm. Registration includes greens fees and a cart for 18 holes of golf. Prime rib dinner will be served at 7pm with a raffle and awards reception to follow players finishing their rounds. Family members are welcome to attend as other non-golf activities will be held throughout the day. Activities include; a bocce ball tournament, a putting contest and massage therapy. This year the winning foursome will receive a free round of golf at the beautiful Quidnessett Country Club.
