Vacancy, written by Alexander Platt and Dave Rabinow, will be playing at 95 Empire from April 26 through May 6, 2012.
Directed by Alexander Platt, Elemental’s Artistic Director, Vacancy is a play set in two adjacent motel rooms on the seedy side of town.
Vacancy was conceived in the tradition of ETC’s annual Go.Go Plays: one play being written by two playwrights, with surprising overlaps and simultaneous action. On one side of the wall, a small-time con has gone disastrously wrong. On the other, reality is being bent by illness, betrayal and a supernatural visitation.
